日本語 ILACは、ISO/IEC 17011要求事項に従って運営を行う認定機関のための国際組織であり、校正機関（ISO/IEC 17025）、試験機関（ISO/IEC 17025）、臨床検査機関 （ISO 15189）及び検査機関（ISO/IEC 17020）の適合性評価機関の認定に関係する業務を行っています。 認定とは、適合性評価機関が公平性及び能力を有することを確実にするために、特定の適合性評価活動を実施するために認められている規格に基づき、独立した評価を実施することです。国内及び国際規格を適用することにより、政府、調達関係者及び消費者は信頼できる校正及び試験結果、検査報告書及び証明書を入手することができます。 適合性評価機関が権限を持つ機関の監督下にあることを確実にするという主たる目的のもと、多くの国・地域で認定機関が設立されています。認定機関はその能力について相互評価を受け、その能力を実行する地域及び国際的な取り決めに署名しています。その後、認定機関は、関係する規格に従って、適合性評価機関を審査し、認定します。 こうした取り決めは、安全な食物やクリーンな飲料水の提供、エネルギーの供給、ソーシャルヘルスケアの提供、または、汚染のない環境の維持といった、地域及び国によるサービスの提供をサポートしています。さらに、この取り決めは、製品やサービスが国際的に受け入れられることを強化し、技術的な障壁を取り除くことで国際貿易のための基盤作りに役立っています。 校正、試験及び臨床試験及び検査の認定についての国際的な取り決めはILACによって管理されており、マネジメントシステム、製品、サービス、要員及びその他適合性評価に類似するプログラムはIAFによって管理されています。ILACとIAFは、世界中の認定と適合性評価の強化のために協力して活動を行っています。 地域での取り決めはILAC、IAFとの協力のもとで、承認を受けた地域協力機関（regional co-operation bodies）によって管理されています。 承認を受けた地域協力機関はILACとIAFの執行委員会の代表でもあります。 ILACは、承認を受け認定活動を行う地域の協力機関、特にヨーロッパではEA（欧州認定協力機構）、アジア・太平洋地域ではAPAC（アジア太平洋認定協力機構）、アメリカではIAAC(米州認定協力機構)、アフリカではAFRAC(アフリカ認定協力機構)、そしてアラブ・中東地域ではARAC(アラブ認定協力機構)との緊密な連携のもとで活動を行っています。また、SADCA（南アフリカ認定開発協力機構）も地域機関として承認されるよう作業を進めています。 こちらのリンクから一部の資料を無料でダウンロードできます。 パンフレット – Brochures
