June 9th 2024 marks World Accreditation Day (#WAD2024), a global initiative established by ILAC and IAF to promote the value of accreditation.
This year’s theme, Accreditation: Empowering Tomorrow and Shaping the Future focuses on how accreditation can help shape various aspects of life in our changing world.
The WAD 2024 poster was created by Japhet Tolosa Celis and Jazzy April Macogue Tolosa and is the result of a competition run by ILAC and IAF. You can find more information on the design and the creator here.
As in previous years, a Joint Statement from the ILAC and IAF Chairs is available as well as a brochure and video to promote the event.
WAD 2024 Virtual Event
IAF and ILAC will also be holding a virtual event on 10 June 2024 and we invite you to this online celebration for World Accreditation Day 2024!
The event will be held in two time zones and discuss the impact of accreditation as digitalization, new technologies and sustainability concerns continue to change our world. An agenda will be circulated closer to the date of the event.
