Southern African Development Community Accreditation Service (SADCAS) successfully hosted a Marketing and Communications Workshop on 18 April 2016 in Pretoria, South Africa.
SADCAS held their Workshop in conjunction with the mid-year ILAC and IAF Marketing and Communications Committee (MCC) meetings. The ILAC & IAF MCC Chair as well as other MCC participants from across the world, including Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Americas, presented at the SADCAS Workshop and provided valuable information on marketing and communications strategies for accreditation bodies. The Workshop was also attended by SADCAS national accreditation focal points, ILAC member accreditation bodies in the African region, as well as the ILAC and IAF Secretariats.
SADCAS is a multi-economy accreditation body in the Southern African region that has recently become a signatory to the ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) for calibration and testing using ISO/IEC 17025. SADCAS services Botswana, Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
